TTD Donates Breath Analysers to Tirupati Police to Improve Road Safety
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has donated breath analysers to the Tirupati police to strengthen efforts in preventing road accidents and enforcing traffic rules. The gadgets were formally handed over by TTD Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal to Superintendent of Police Subbarayudu.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Singhal said the breath analysers would help police personnel effectively check drunken driving and improve overall road safety in Tirupati. He emphasised that ensuring the safety of devotees and residents was a key responsibility, especially in a city that witnesses heavy vehicular movement due to pilgrim inflow.
The Superintendent of Police appreciated TTD’s support and said the new equipment would enhance traffic enforcement and act as a strong deterrent against drunk driving. He added that strict implementation of traffic regulations, combined with public awareness, was essential to reduce accidents.
The initiative reflects TTD’s commitment to public welfare beyond temple administration, contributing to safer roads and disciplined traffic management in the pilgrim town.
