Operation Sindoor Strengthens Tri-Service Coordination, Says Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit
Operation Sindoor has strengthened integrated command and coordination across the tri-services, said Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Staff of the Armed Forces (CISC), on December 22, 2025. The operation, conducted as part of ongoing preparedness exercises, focused on enhancing interoperability between the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
Air Marshal Dixit highlighted that the operation emphasized real-time communication, joint planning, and swift deployment capabilities, ensuring that the armed forces can respond efficiently to any security challenges. He noted that exercises under Operation Sindoor have improved situational awareness, logistics coordination, and command efficiency, bridging gaps between the three services.
The CISC added that the operation also included simulated scenarios involving disaster response, border security, and counter-terrorism measures. The drills allowed personnel to test integrated command protocols and refine rapid decision-making processes under pressure.
Officials stated that Operation Sindoor is part of a broader initiative to maintain operational readiness and strengthen India’s defense posture, particularly in strategically sensitive regions.
