Statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Unveiled in Bhimavaram
A statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was unveiled in Bhimavaram on Monday, marking a tribute to one of India’s most respected statesmen. The ceremony was attended by public representatives, senior officials, and local residents, who recalled Vajpayee’s contribution to national development and democratic values.
Speakers highlighted Vajpayee’s role in strengthening India’s infrastructure, foreign policy, and governance during his tenure as Prime Minister. They described him as a visionary leader known for his oratory skills, inclusive approach, and commitment to consensus-based politics. Floral tributes were paid at the statue site, and patriotic slogans were raised by supporters.
