Tarn Taran Child Death has shocked residents after a seven-year-old boy died under mysterious circumstances in Jagatpura village. The deceased has been identified as Manraj Singh.
According to the family, the child went outside to play near his home. When he did not return for a long time, relatives began searching for him. They later found his body inside a locked, abandoned house close to their residence.
The discovery caused panic and grief in the village. Family members have raised serious concerns over the child’s death. They suspect someone may have given him a poisonous substance. The family has demanded a fair investigation and strict action against those responsible.
Police from Jhabal police station reached the spot soon after receiving information. Officials initiated proceedings under Section 174 and sent the body for postmortem examination. The autopsy aims to determine the exact cause of death.
Station House Officer Inspector Harpreet Singh Virk said the police are investigating all possible angles. He confirmed that forensic reports will play a key role in the probe. Police have not ruled out any possibility at this stage.
