Bihar has rolled out a Bihar big plan against terror to tighten security and improve intelligence gathering across the state. Under this plan, the Bihar Police will open new Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) command offices in four important districts.

Senior police officials said the new units will help track suspicious activities and strengthen surveillance. The ATS teams will also focus on monitoring social media and online platforms to detect early signs of radicalization or terror links.
Each regional office will be headed by a DSP-rank officer and supported by trained personnel. The aim is to ensure faster action, better coordination, and improved intelligence sharing at the local level.
The state government believes this move will make Bihar’s internal security system stronger. With these new ATS command centers, the police hope to prevent terror activities and maintain law and order more effectively across sensitive regions.
