Morena Congress Food Chaos broke out during a party workers’ conference in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. Around 2,000 Congress workers rushed food stalls moments after the event ended.
The conference took place in Morena district and remained peaceful during speeches. Congress national secretary Harish Chaudhary attended the event. Bharatpur MP Sanjana Jatav was also present. Trouble began once the guests left the venue.
Workers moved towards the food area in large numbers. The organisers had arranged only four food stalls. The sudden rush overwhelmed the system. Plates emptied within minutes.
Some workers managed to get rice. Others took only vegetables. A few even filled vegetables directly into plates and containers. Witnesses said food ran out quickly, leading to chaos.
A video of the incident surfaced on social media. The footage showed workers holding plates with partial meals. One worker poured vegetables into multiple plates. Others said only vegetables remained.
Congress district president Gajendra Singhi denied knowledge of any issue. He claimed organisers prepared sufficient food. He questioned the authenticity of the video.
Rural district president Madhuraj Singh Tomar admitted crowd mismanagement. He said workers reached the stalls even before the event ended. All workers arrived together later, causing disorder.
The video has gone viral and triggered political reactions. BJP leader Charu Krishna Dandotiya criticised Congress workers. He accused the party of lacking discipline and disrespecting food.
