A tragic incident came to light in Bihar where a 19-year-old son committed suicide after mother refused him money. The incident happened in the Babarganj police station area of Bhagalpur district and left the family in deep shock.
According to police, the young man lived with his parents. On the day of the incident, he asked his mother for money. When she refused, he became upset and went into his room. He locked the door from inside and did not come out for several hours.
His mother first thought he was resting. Later, when he did not respond, she grew worried and called neighbours for help. They broke open the door and found the युवक hanging from a muffler.
The family rushed him to the nearest hospital. Doctors declared him dead on arrival. Police said the youth was the only son of his parents. His father runs a two-wheeler repair shop and was not at home at the time.
Family members said the youth had left his studies and had fallen into bad habits. Police have started an investigation and are questioning family members to understand the full reason behind the step.
