CM Stalin Promises Enhanced Women-Centric Schemes in DMK’s ‘Dravidian Model’ 2.0
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has announced that the upcoming “Dravidian Model” government 2.0 will introduce enhanced schemes for women, focusing on their welfare, empowerment, and socio-economic development. Speaking at the DMK’s West Zone women’s conference, titled ‘Vellum Tamil Pengal,’ Stalin emphasised that women-centric policies will be a priority in the party’s next term.
He stated that the DMK’s election manifesto will include innovative programs designed under the leadership of party deputy general secretary and Parliamentary Party leader Kanimozhi. The schemes are expected to address issues such as health, education, financial independence, safety, and opportunities for entrepreneurship, aiming to strengthen women’s participation in all spheres of society.
The Chief Minister underscored the party’s commitment to building a progressive, inclusive government that empowers women at every level. He also highlighted the need for women’s active involvement in governance, decision-making, and social initiatives, reaffirming the DMK’s focus on gender-sensitive policies and sustained welfare measures.
