Patna Metro Fake Interview Scam Busted as Police Raid Fake Job Session

Patna Metro fake interview scam police raid in Patna

Police exposed a Patna Metro fake interview scam after raiding a flat in Patna where fraudsters were conducting a bogus job interview. Acting on a tip-off, officers reached the Meethapur area and found several young job seekers waiting for interviews for Patna Metro posts.

The Patna Metro fake interview scam targeted unemployed youths from different districts of Bihar. The accused promised well-paid metro jobs and collected money in stages. They first charged a small amount for online form filling. Later, they demanded ₹50,000 to ₹60,000 for appearing in the interview.

During the raid, police arrested three men from the spot. They identified them as residents of Supaul, Nawada, and Saharsa. Officers also seized fake appointment letters, interview papers, and mobile phones used to contact victims.

Some candidates had already reached the final stage of the fake process. The accused told them they would need to pay up to ₹10 lakh for final selection. Police said the main mastermind is still absconding.

Police have started a detailed investigation and are checking how many people the gang cheated. Officials advised job seekers to trust only official recruitment notices and avoid paying money for jobs.
