The World Largest Shivling was showered with flowers using a JCB machine as it arrived in Gopalganj, creating a wave of devotion across the town. The grand welcome drew thousands of devotees who gathered along the roads to witness the historic moment. The World Largest Shivling instantly became the center of attraction for people from nearby districts.
Devotees raised slogans of Har-Har Mahadev and Bam-Bam Bhole during the procession. Priests performed traditional rituals and offered milk, flowers, and prayers. Many people folded their hands, while others captured the moment on their mobile phones.
The massive Shivling was carved from a single block of black granite in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. Skilled artisans worked on it for several years. Its journey through Bihar has turned into a major religious event, with enthusiastic crowds welcoming it at every stop.
Rural Works Minister Ashok Choudhary attended the program and joined the worship. Saints and religious leaders from different places also took part in the rituals. The Shivling will now move towards East Champaran, where it will be installed at the Virat Ramayan Temple.
The event filled Gopalganj with spiritual energy and showcased deep faith and unity among devotees.
