The STET 2025 category wise cutoff for Bihar has been announced. Candidates now know the minimum marks needed to pass based on their category. For the General category, the STET 2025 category wise cutoff was 50%. Candidates needed at least 75 marks out of 150 to qualify.
Other categories had lower passing marks. OBC candidates needed 45.5%, EBC 42.5%, and SC, ST, women, and differently-abled candidates had to score at least 40%. The board made it clear that scoring below these marks means failing the exam.
The STET exam included 150 multiple-choice questions, with 100 marks for subject knowledge and 50 for teaching skills. There was no negative marking. Around 4.42 lakh candidates appeared, and 2.56 lakh passed. Paper-1 saw a 62.56% pass rate, while Paper-2 had 52.17%.
Successful candidates will receive the STET eligibility certificate from BSEB. This certificate is mandatory for applying for teaching positions in Bihar schools.
