Bihar Land Mafia Crackdown: Vijay Sinha Orders Statewide Action

Bihar land mafia crackdown ordered by Deputy CM Vijay Sinha

The Bihar land mafia crackdown has gained momentum after Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha directed all district magistrates to prepare a list of land mafia operating in their areas. He issued the order during a review meeting, asking officials to work closely with police officers to identify offenders.

Sinha said the government will not tolerate illegal कब्जा (encroachment) or fake land documents. He warned that land mafias create trouble for common people and block genuine land services. The administration must act firmly and without delay.

Each district has been asked to submit names of land mafias after proper verification. Police superintendents will support revenue officials in this task. The government plans legal action once the lists are finalized.

The Deputy CM also spoke about improving land services. He said online systems and Common Service Centres will help people apply for land-related work without middlemen. This will reduce corruption and delays.

Sinha made it clear that officials who protect land mafias will face action. Honest officers will receive full support from the government.

The Bihar land mafia crackdown aims to protect public land, ensure transparency, and restore trust in the land administration system. The state government hopes this drive will bring long-term relief to citizens facing land disputes.
