Bihar Weather is turning colder as night temperatures continue to fall and fog spreads across many districts. People across the state are experiencing chilly mornings and poor visibility due to dense fog. Bihar Weather experts say night temperatures may drop further over the next few days, increasing the cold during late night and early morning hours.
The Meteorological Department has issued a cold day alert for several districts. Nineteen districts in North Bihar and five districts in South Bihar may face cold day conditions. Areas such as West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Araria, Kishanganj, Gaya and Nawada are likely to see fog during morning hours. Fog may affect road and rail movement in these regions.
Recent observations show a sharp fall in minimum temperatures. In some districts, temperatures dropped by more than 7°C. Gaya recorded one of the lowest night temperatures at around 5.5°C, while Motihari saw a daytime temperature close to 19°C. Cold winds made the weather feel harsher despite brief sunshine.
Weather officials say cold conditions and fog may continue for the next few days. People are advised to wear warm clothes and remain cautious while traveling, especially during early morning hours.
