Vipul Kumar Arrested in Major Exam Paper Leak Case

Vipul Kumar arrested by Bihar EOU in Patna in Sanjeev Mukhiya gang paper leak case

Vipul Kumar arrested by the Bihar Economic Offences Unit (EOU) in Patna for his alleged role in an exam paper leak racket. Vipul Kumar arrested marks a major step in the investigation against the Sanjeev Mukhiya gang, which runs a large exam fraud network.

EOU officials tracked Vipul Kumar for several days before arresting him from Patna. Investigators say he helped manage students and arranged leaked question papers before exams.

The accused reportedly played a role in the STET paper leak case. He also had links to teacher recruitment exam leaks in Bihar. Police believe the gang collected large amounts of money from candidates by promising leaked papers and assured success.

Officials said Vipul Kumar stayed in contact with other gang members across Bihar and nearby states. Digital evidence and call records helped police trace his movements.

The arrest forms part of a wider crackdown on exam fraud in Bihar. EOU has already arrested hundreds of accused in similar cases. Raids continue to catch others involved.

Authorities said they will take strict action to protect the fairness of competitive exams and stop future paper leaks.
