Private Bus Gutted in Rajamahendravaram; No Injuries Reported

In Rajamahendravaram, a private bus was completely gutted by fire on Tuesday due to a suspected short circuit, authorities said. The incident occurred on the Gammon Bridge, but fortunately, no passengers were injured.
The bus driver reportedly noticed the sparks and smoke caused by the short circuit while driving. Acting swiftly, he alerted the passengers and safely parked the bus on the bridge before the fire spread further. Passengers were able to evacuate quickly, preventing any casualties.
Firefighters rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control, but the bus was totally destroyed. Police have registered a report and are investigating the exact cause of the short circuit. Officials urged private transport operators to maintain electrical systems regularly to avoid similar incidents in the future.
The quick thinking of the driver was widely appreciated for averting a potential tragedy.
