Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday urged the Jathedar of Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj, to allow a live telecast of his deposition on January 15. Mann said the move would ensure transparency and let the public hear his stand directly. The Chief Minister reiterated that he has no intention to politicise the issue. He said he only wants his version to reach people without distortion. Mann again urged that all news channels should broadcast the proceedings live on January 15.
