BCB Seeks Venue Change for T20 World Cup Matches, Writes Again to ICC

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has sent another letter to the International Cricket Council (ICC) requesting a change of venue for its matches in the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The move comes amid internal differences within the BCB over how firmly the issue should be pursued.
One section of the board has backed BCB president Nazrul Islam’s hardline position, insisting that concerns over logistics and conditions warrant a venue change. This group has urged the ICC to take immediate action in the interest of fairness and player comfort.
However, another section of the BCB favours a more cautious approach, advocating continued dialogue with the ICC as well as Indian cricket authorities to find an amicable solution. They believe that maintaining open communication channels could help address concerns without escalating tensions.
The ICC has not yet issued a formal response, but discussions are expected to continue as the tournament approaches.
