Woman and Three Children Death Case: Boyfriend Arrested, Husband on Radar

Woman and three children death case suspect arrested by police

In Muzaffarpur, a woman and three children death case has taken a new turn after police arrested the woman’s boyfriend and called her husband for questioning. Investigators believe these steps may help uncover what led to the deaths.

Police arrested 30-year-old Amod Kumar from Madhubani after checking call records. He stayed in regular contact with the woman, Mamta Devi, after she went missing with her three children on January 10. Officers later sent him to judicial custody and seized his mobile phone and SIM cards for detailed examination.

The police also issued a notice to Mamta’s husband, Krishna Mohan Kumar, asking him to appear before investigators. Family members shared several details with police, which raised suspicion and pushed officials to question him. The police have not confirmed the exact cause of death so far.

Authorities are waiting for post-mortem and forensic reports to get clear answers. Meanwhile, teams are checking CCTV footage and tracking mobile phone locations to trace the family’s movements. Police said there is no evidence yet that the woman left the city after she disappeared.

The investigation is ongoing, and police say more action may follow as new facts emerge.
