The NEET student dead in Patna case has triggered anger and large-scale protests in the state capital. Congress leaders and workers staged a demonstration demanding justice for the 18-year-old student and called for a CBI inquiry. Protesters raised slogans and accused the government of failing to protect students.

Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary reacted strongly to the issue. He said the police have formed a Special Investigation Team to probe the matter. Senior officers, including the DGP and IG, are closely monitoring the investigation. He assured that anyone found guilty in the NEET student dead in Patna case will not be spared.

The student, a resident of Jehanabad district, was staying at a private girls’ hostel in Patna while preparing for the NEET examination. She was found unconscious in her room and was rushed to the hospital. After remaining in a coma for several days, she died during treatment.

The victim’s family has raised serious allegations and demanded a thorough probe. Police officials say early medical reports have not shown signs of assault, but they are continuing the investigation from all angles.

The incident has intensified political debate in Bihar, with opposition parties pressing for transparency and quick justice.
