Bihar land mapping will end till 31st March announcement by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar

Bihar land mapping will end till 31st March, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced while reviewing the work of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. He said the state government wants to remove delays and bring transparency to land-related services. Bihar land mapping will end till 31st March under a fixed timeline to benefit landowners.

The Chief Minister said all pending land mapping applications will be cleared through a special drive. The government plans to finish old cases first so that people do not face repeated visits to offices.

Nitish Kumar added that from April 1, land measurement for undisputed plots will be completed within seven working days after fee payment. For disputed land, the process will finish within eleven working days. This step aims to reduce long waiting periods.

He also directed officials to upload land measurement reports on the portal within 14 days. This will help people access records online without delay.

The Chief Minister asked the department to ensure enough staff and proper monitoring. He also invited public suggestions to improve the system further.

The state government believes this move will strengthen land management, reduce disputes, and improve public trust in land services.
