Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav continued their Voter Rights Yatra in Bihar on Friday, August 29. The march entered its 13th day as thousands of people joined along the route.

Rahul Gandhi began the day’s march at 8:40 am from Kudiyapokhri in Bettiah. He later stopped at Haritakiya and offered floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi’s statue.

Tejashwi Yadav, VIP chief Mukesh Sahani, CPI(ML) leader Dipankar Bhattacharya, and Bihar Congress chief Rajesh Ram also walked with him. The event turned into a strong show of unity for the Mahagathbandhan.

Crowds lined the roads, waving and cheering as the leaders passed by in open jeeps. Supporters shouted slogans and welcomed the leaders with garlands.

By afternoon, the Yatra crossed Bettiah and moved into Gopalganj. Organizers confirmed that the march would reach Siwan by evening.

The leaders stressed that fair voter lists are essential for democracy. They said the Yatra will continue across Bihar to raise awareness and protect voter rights.
