Naidu highlights Andhra Pradesh’s FDI success at Davos meet
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh attracted 25% of the total Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) that came into India. He shared this information while speaking at the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos. He said this achievement shows the strong growth and investor-friendly policies of the State.
Naidu explained that the State government is focusing on industries such as food processing, renewable energy, information technology, and manufacturing. These sectors are creating jobs and helping the State’s economy grow faster.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has agreed to support cooperation between Andhra Pradesh’s food processing sector and the Dubai Food Cluster. The UAE also assured help in bringing investments from about 40 Emirati companies to Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu said such international partnerships will improve exports, attract more investments, and provide better opportunities for farmers and youth. He added that the government will continue efforts to make Andhra Pradesh a top destination for global investors.
