Bihar First Shiva Corridor Gets Green Signal in Sultanganj

Bihar first Shiva corridor planned near Ajgaibinath Dham in Sultanganj

The Bihar first Shiva corridor will soon take shape in Sultanganj near the famous Ajgaibinath Dham on the banks of the Ganga. The Bihar first Shiva corridor project moved forward after the state government agreed to give alternative land to the Railways.

The corridor plan had remained stuck for years due to land ownership issues. The required land belonged to the Indian Railways. To resolve this, the administration proposed a land exchange near the Ganga river.

Under the plan, the Railways will receive about 20 acres of land at three different locations. In return, the state will get nearly 17 acres of railway land in Sultanganj.

This corridor will include better pathways, pilgrim facilities, and development around the temple area. Officials believe the project will boost religious tourism and improve facilities for devotees, especially during the Shravan Mela.

Once approvals are completed, construction work will begin soon.
