AP Home Minister Anitha Calls for Strong Budget Support to Strengthen Police Force
Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Anitha has stressed the need for enough budget support to strengthen the State police force. She said that providing proper resources and facilities to police personnel should be a key part of the Home Department’s budget planning. Speaking in Amaravati, the Minister said a strong police system is necessary to maintain law and order and ensure public safety.
Anitha explained that police officers work under difficult conditions and face many challenges every day. Therefore, they need better infrastructure, modern equipment, vehicles, and housing facilities. She also said that regular training and welfare measures are important to improve their performance and morale.
The Home Minister added that investing in the police force will help improve crime control and public confidence. She urged officials to give priority to police needs while preparing the budget. According to her, a well-supported police force will help in better governance and safer communities across Andhra Pradesh.
