Pawan Kalyan Opens Kotappakonda–Kothapalem Road to Help Devotees and Locals
Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan inaugurated the Kotappakonda–Kothapalem road on January 22, 2026, fulfilling his promise ahead of the Shivaratri festival. The new 8‑kilometre road was built with ₹3.9 crore from the Panchayat Raj department and is now open for public use.
Kalyan visited the Sri Trikoteswara Swamy temple at Kotappakonda before the inauguration and also inspected the new road. The improved route will make travel easier for nearly 1.5 lakh devotees who visit the temple during the festival.
The road is also expected to benefit local farmers, students, and residents by reducing travel time and improving access to nearby areas. Officials and villagers thanked the Deputy Chief Minister for completing the project before the important religious event.
