People Paying Heavy Health Price Due to Air Pollution: Rahul Gandhi
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that people across the country are paying a heavy price for air pollution with their health. Speaking in New Delhi, he said that poor air quality is badly affecting daily life, especially in big cities.
Rahul Gandhi pointed out that children and elderly people suffer the most due to polluted air. He said many children face breathing problems, while older people struggle with existing health issues. He also highlighted that air pollution affects livelihoods, particularly those of construction workers and daily wage earners, who are forced to work outdoors in unhealthy conditions.
The Congress leader urged the government to take strong and immediate steps to control pollution. He stressed the need for better planning, strict rules, and long-term solutions to improve air quality. Rahul Gandhi said clean air is a basic right and protecting public health should be a top priority for the country.
