Republic Day Celebrations: Governor Hosts ‘At Home’ Reception in Vijayawada
The Governor hosted an “At Home” reception on the occasion of Republic Day in Vijayawada on Monday evening. The event was held in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere and was attended by many important guests. Ministers, Members of Parliament, MLAs, senior government officials, judges, and representatives from different walks of life took part in the programme.
The Governor greeted the guests and extended Republic Day wishes to all. Cultural programmes highlighting India’s rich traditions were presented during the reception. Traditional music and performances added colour to the celebrations. Refreshments were arranged for the guests.
The Governor spoke about the importance of the Indian Constitution and the values of democracy, unity, and equality. He appreciated the efforts of people who are working for the development of the State and the nation.
