Shah Rukh Khan joins Disney Cruise as the narrator of The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky, a spectacular fireworks show onboard the Disney Adventure. The show will debut during the cruise’s inaugural sailing from Singapore on March 10.
Disney Cruise Line confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will lend his iconic voice and storytelling style to guide guests through a magical journey inspired by The Lion King. Notably, Shah Rukh Khan joins Disney Cruise after earlier voicing Mufasa in the Hindi versions of The Lion King (2019) and Mufasa (2024).
Sharing his excitement, Khan said the story holds a special place in his heart. He added that narrating this reimagined show feels like a full-circle moment. Moreover, he described the production as a tribute to family, courage, and community.
Meanwhile, the show will feature stunning fireworks, dramatic lighting, and beloved songs like Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight. In addition, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and South Africa’s Ndlovu Youth Choir will bring the music to life.
Furthermore, Disney officials said the collaboration adds a meaningful regional touch. The Disney Adventure will host the show on select evenings during three- and four-night voyages.
