A.P. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu launched a series of tourism initiatives in Kuppam, aimed at promoting local attractions and creating new livelihood opportunities. He said tourism can play a major role in regional development if planned carefully.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister said Kuppam has strong potential for eco-tourism, cultural tourism, and heritage-based travel. He said the government will focus on improving basic infrastructure, connectivity, and visitor facilities to attract more tourists.
The initiatives include the development of tourist circuits, improvement of access roads, and promotion of local crafts and cuisine. The Chief Minister said these steps will help local youth find employment in hospitality, transport, and allied sectors.
He stressed the need for community participation in tourism projects. Local residents, he said, should benefit directly from increased tourist inflow. Training programmes will be introduced to help people acquire skills related to tourism services.
The A.P. Chief Minister launches series of tourism initiatives as part of a broader plan to diversify the State’s economy. He said the government is committed to sustainable tourism that protects the environment while boosting income for local communities.
