Daaman Bajwa Sports Push took centre stage as Daaman Bajwa, BJP District President of Sangrur, held a productive meeting with Union Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. During the interaction, she strongly raised key sports-related issues affecting Sangrur and Sunam, with special focus on Sunam Udham Singh Wala. Daaman Bajwa Sports Push reflects her sustained effort to strengthen grassroots sports development.
In the meeting, Bajwa submitted a detailed memorandum to the Sports Ministry. She stressed the urgent need for modern sports infrastructure and better training facilities in the region. In particular, she highlighted boxing as a high-potential sport that needs immediate support and upgraded amenities.
Bajwa said such facilities would help local athletes compete at higher levels and bring national recognition to the district. “Together, through dedication and vision, we can create an environment where sports flourish and talents bloom, paving the way for a brighter future filled with possibilities,” she said.
Later, Daaman Bajwa also met Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. During that meeting, she submitted a charter of demands related to tourism, culture, and regional development for Sangrur district and the Sunam constituency.
Through these engagements, Bajwa continues to advocate for youth empowerment, sports excellence, and balanced regional growth, while motivating young people to pursue their sporting dreams with confidence.
