Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated India’s continued support for the Palestinian people during a meeting with Foreign Ministers of several Arab countries in New Delhi. The visiting Ministers called on the Prime Minister and discussed issues related to peace, security, and cooperation in the West Asia region.
Mr. Modi said India has always supported dialogue, peace, and a two-State solution to resolve the Israel-Palestine issue. He appreciated the role played by Arab nations in promoting peace and stability in West Asia. The Prime Minister also highlighted India’s strong and friendly relations with Arab countries, based on mutual respect and shared interests.
The discussions also covered ways to strengthen cooperation in areas such as trade, energy, investment, and people-to-people ties. Mr. Modi said India values its partnerships with Arab nations and will continue to work with them for regional peace and development.
The visiting Ministers welcomed India’s balanced approach and its efforts to promote peace in the region.
