Haryana has brought 29 Haryana Labour Welfare Board services under Right to Service Act to ensure workers get benefits on time. The state issued a notification on February 4, 2026, and fixed strict timelines for delivery.
This step covers support for children of workers, including help for school uniforms, books, notebooks, and scholarships from Class I to XII. The government also added coaching support for entrance exams, vocational courses, and financial aid for UPSC and HPSC main exam preparation.
Haryana has also included assistance for sports and cultural participation. Welfare schemes like Kanyadaan for women workers and daughters of workers, Shagun for male workers and their sons, and maternity support now fall under the Act.
The state fixed a 60-day deadline for most services. These include dental treatment, spectacles, bicycles, sewing machines, LTC, disability support, artificial limbs, hearing aids, tricycles, and aid for disabled children of workers.
The state set a 15-day deadline for last rites support, aid to dependents of deceased workers, and benefits under the Mukhya Mantri Samajik Suraksha Yojana.
Haryana also added services under the Silicosis Rehabilitation Policy, with clear officers and grievance authorities. Overall, 29 Haryana Labour Welfare Board services under Right to Service Act will now reach families faster.
