A case has been registered against Jana Sena Party (JSP) MLA Arava Sridhar, who represents the Railway Koduru constituency, following a complaint by a woman employee in Tirupati. According to the police, the woman alleged that the MLA cheated her by making false promises, which caused her mental and financial distress.
Based on her complaint, the police booked a case under relevant legal sections and started an investigation. Officials said statements will be recorded from the complainant and the accused to verify the facts. The police are also examining available evidence related to the case.
Sources said the woman was working with the MLA in an official or personal capacity. She alleged that her trust was misused. Meanwhile, leaders of the Jana Sena Party said they would wait for the investigation outcome. Police officials stated that the law will take its course and action will be taken based on the findings.
