Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Malaysia for two days to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries. During the visit, he will hold detailed discussions with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on key issues such as trade, investment, defence cooperation, and regional security.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to meet members of the Indian community in Kuala Lumpur. He is expected to interact with business leaders, professionals, and students of Indian origin and highlight the role of the Indian diaspora in building strong ties between India and Malaysia.
Officials said the visit aims to further enhance cooperation in areas like education, digital technology, tourism, and cultural exchange. The leaders are also likely to discuss developments in the Indo-Pacific region and global issues of mutual interest.
India and Malaysia share close historical and cultural links. The visit is expected to give a fresh push to diplomatic, economic, and people-to-people relations between the two nations.
