Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of forming a secret alliance for the upcoming municipal elections. He claimed that the two parties are cooperating behind the scenes to divide power and seats among themselves.
The Chief Minister described the alleged connection between BRS and BJP as a “Fevicol-like bond,” saying their cooperation is strong and hidden from the public eye. He warned that such secret deals could harm democracy and limit the choices available to voters in the elections.
A. Revanth Reddy also called for transparency, demanding that citizens be informed about any agreements between political parties. He urged the public to stay alert and question any attempts to manipulate local elections.
His allegations are likely to spark political debates in the state. So far, both BRS and BJP have not officially responded to the Chief Minister’s claims.
