Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has said that the investigation into alleged phone tapping was delayed because Prabhakar Rao was absent for a long time. The probe is looking into claims that phones of certain individuals were illegally monitored.
Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, CM Revanth said that the delay was not intentional and occurred due to procedural issues related to Rao’s absence. He assured that the authorities are now actively pursuing the case and that all necessary steps will be taken to complete the investigation quickly.
The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of privacy and law enforcement. He said that illegal phone tapping is a serious issue and those responsible will face strict action under the law.
Officials have been asked to coordinate and speed up the probe, and the public has been assured that the investigation will be transparent, fair, and thorough to maintain trust in the system.
