The Andhra Pradesh government is partnering with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to bring Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the healthcare system. The State Health Minister said this partnership aims to improve medical services and make healthcare more efficient and accessible to people.
The Minister explained that AI will help doctors detect diseases early, manage patient records better, and provide faster treatment. It will also support data analysis, helping the government plan health services more effectively. Special focus will be given to maternal and child health, disease prevention, and rural healthcare services.
He said the partnership will strengthen government hospitals and primary health centres across Andhra Pradesh. Training will be provided to medical staff to use new digital tools. The government believes that AI-based reforms will improve the quality of healthcare and ensure better services for all sections of society.
