Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for north India’s first semiconductor manufacturing unit in Gautam Buddh Nagar on February 21. The announcement was made by Yogi Adityanath.
The Chief Minister said the semiconductor unit is a major step toward making Uttar Pradesh a hub for high-technology manufacturing. The project is expected to create jobs, attract investment, and boost the State’s economy.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate a new corridor of the Namo Bharat Corridor in Uttar Pradesh. The corridor aims to improve fast and modern transport for commuters.
Officials said both projects reflect the government’s focus on infrastructure and advanced technology. They believe these initiatives will support economic growth and improve connectivity in the region.
