The India AI Expo Summit 2026 will remain closed on February 19 and will instead extend to February 21, a government official announced. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the summit on February 19, which has attracted huge enthusiasm from participants worldwide.

Electronics and IT Secretary S Krishnan said the closure on February 19 aims to avoid public inconvenience due to restrictions during the inaugural session. The extra day on February 21 will allow attendees more time to explore the summit and its exhibits.

The expo will host 20 heads of states, including French President Emmanuel Macron, during the inaugural session. The summit will showcase advancements in artificial intelligence, innovation, technology solutions, and international collaborations.

Organizers highlighted that the India AI Expo Summit provides a platform for global leaders, researchers, and startups to interact, share ideas, and explore business and research opportunities. The additional day ensures that participants and visitors get full access to all sessions and exhibitions.
