In a shocking incident, a boyfriend shot dead girlfriend in Muzaffarpur late at night in a village under Sakra police station area. The accused entered the girl’s house while her family members were asleep. The boyfriend shot dead girlfriend in Muzaffarpur and fled the scene soon after the attack.
According to police, the victim was a minor girl. After committing the crime, the accused reached the police station with a pistol. He reportedly told officers that he took revenge because he felt betrayed in the relationship.
Police immediately took him into custody and seized the weapon used in the crime. Officers also recovered cartridges from him.
The girl’s body was sent for post-mortem to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital. Police have started an investigation and are questioning the accused to find out more details about the motive.
