Ambati Rambabu, a senior leader of the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), was released from Rajahmundry Central Prisonon Tuesday evening. He had been in jail in connection with recent political tensions in the State. After coming out, he spoke to the media and made serious allegations against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh.
Rambabu accused them of planning an attack on his house and family in Guntur on January 31. He said the incident was politically motivated and meant to scare him. He strongly denied any wrongdoing and claimed that the cases against him were false.
The former Minister said he would continue to question the government’s policies and fight for justice. He added that he is not afraid of pressure or threats and will keep raising his voice for the people of Andhra Pradesh.
