India entered the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup 2026 with a perfect record of four wins in four matches. In their latest match in Ahmedabad, India defeated the Netherlands by 17 runs in an exciting contest.
Batting first, India scored 193 for six in 20 overs. Shivam Dube played a brilliant innings, scoring 66 runs off just 31 balls. His powerful hitting helped India post a strong total. Other batters also contributed useful runs to support the team.
In reply, the Netherlands fought hard and scored 176 for seven in their 20 overs. However, they could not reach the target. Indian spinner Varun took three important wickets and controlled the middle overs.
With this win, India topped their group and moved confidently into the Super Eight stage. The team’s strong batting and disciplined bowling have made them one of the favourites in the tournament.
