A NEET Student Death Case has taken a new turn after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) visited Jehanabad for fresh questioning. In this NEET Student Death Case, officers met the student’s maternal uncle at his village and recorded his statement.
A five-member CBI team reached the village under Makhdumpur police station area on Thursday morning. The team stayed there for around two and a half hours. Officers asked detailed questions about the events before the student’s death. They also spoke to other family members.
Sources said the uncle had earlier failed to appear at the CBI office for questioning. After that, the agency decided to visit the village directly.
The CBI has already questioned the student’s parents. Officials also seized the brother’s mobile phone for forensic examination.
Investigators continue to gather evidence as they try to find out the exact circumstances behind the tragic death.
