According to police, the dispute started when one supporter allegedly abused another person after returning from the police station. The argument escalated, and both sides gathered supporters. Soon, they began hitting each other, causing panic in the area.
One person suffered serious injuries during the clash. Doctors referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for treatment.
Police officers reached the spot quickly and controlled the situation. Officials said the rivalry between the two groups has existed for some time. Police have increased patrolling in the area and are investigating the matter.
