According to prosecutors, the accused lured the victim from Delhi to Muzaffarpur. He then killed him in a rented room. After the murder, he cut the body into pieces and hid them inside a blue plastic drum. He poured chemicals, salt, and bleaching agents into the drum to decompose the remains.
The crime surfaced after a blast inside the rented house drew attention. Local people alerted authorities, and police recovered the drum during inspection.
After reviewing evidence and witness statements, the court sentenced the accused to life in prison and imposed a fine of ₹55,000.
