Bihar Rajya Sabha Elections Nomination filing by Nitish Kumar and other candidates in Patna

The Bihar Rajya Sabha Elections Nomination process began in Patna as several leaders submitted their papers for the upcoming Upper House polls. The Bihar Rajya Sabha Elections Nomination includes candidates from the ruling alliance and the opposition, making the contest politically important.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar filed his nomination along with NDA candidates Nitin Nabin, Ramnath Thakur, Upendra Kushwaha and Shivesh Ram. Senior political leaders also attended the nomination event and showed strong support for the alliance candidates.

On the opposition side, the Rashtriya Janata Dal nominated sitting Rajya Sabha MP Amarendra Dhari Singh. Six candidates are now in the race for five seats, so voting will take place to decide the winners.

The Rajya Sabha election is required because the term of five MPs from Bihar will end on April 9. Political observers say the results may influence future leadership changes and the political balance in the state.

Voting for the Rajya Sabha seats is scheduled for March 16 according to the official election schedule.
