Nishant Kumar recently joined the Janata Dal (United), marking his formal entry into politics. Soon after joining the party, he visited Patna to pay tribute to his late mother at her statue.
During the visit, journalists asked him about JD(U) youth leaders demanding that he be made the chief minister. However, Nishant chose not to respond and quietly left the spot without giving any statement.
Earlier, he said he plans to travel across all 38 districts of Bihar in the coming days to understand the state better. The exact date for this tour has not yet been decided.
