The AD Singh Rajya Sabha Election has become a major political focus in Bihar. RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said he is confident that the AD Singh Rajya Sabha Election will end in victory for the opposition alliance. He shared this view after holding a strategy meeting with party leaders and MLAs in Patna.
During the meeting, leaders of the opposition alliance discussed their voting strategy and asked legislators to remain united. The RJD has nominated Amrendra Dhari Singh, popularly known as AD Singh, as its candidate for the Rajya Sabha seat.
The election is expected to be closely contested because six candidates are competing for five seats from Bihar. Each candidate needs at least 41 votes from the state assembly to secure a win.
Tejashwi Yadav said the opposition alliance hopes to gather enough support from smaller parties and independent MLAs. Political observers believe the contest for the fifth seat could become the most interesting battle in the upcoming Rajya Sabha election.
