A tuition teacher brutal murder in Purnea has shocked residents of the Kasba area in Bihar. The victim, identified as 44-year-old Abid from Mathor village, had left home to teach children but never returned. Later, villagers found his body in a cornfield near Kamalpur village.

Abid had been living with his in-laws for nearly 20 years and taught private tuition to local children. According to family members, he left home on Thursday afternoon to take classes but did not return in the evening. His relatives searched for him during the night but could not find him.
Police from Kasba station and a forensic team reached the spot soon after the discovery. Officers sent the body for post-mortem at a government medical college hospital in Purnea. Investigators have started collecting evidence and questioning local residents.
Authorities said the motive behind the killing remains unclear. Police have launched a detailed investigation to identify the attackers.
