The Bihar CO RO Strike has taken a serious turn. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha gave striking circle officers (COs) and revenue officers (ROs) a 24-hour deadline to return to work.
Sinha said officers should end the Bihar CO RO Strike within a day. If they return to duty in time, the government will avoid strict action.
He also said pressure tactics will not work. Government officers must focus on public service and revenue work. March is an important month for many government programs in the state.
The strike started on 9 March. It is led by the Bihar Revenue Service Joint Federation. Officers are demanding quick posting of those promoted to the Deputy Collector of Land Reforms (DCLR) posts.
The government has urged officers to resolve the issue soon and resume work so public services do not suffer.
